Cooperation with InEnTec

Company, Environment, Hydrogen, September 8, 2020

Plagazi is pleased to announce the collaboration with InEnTec, the industry leader inplasma gasification systems. Plagazi and Inentec have signed an exclusive collaboration agreement for Europe. InEnTec develops solutions to turn waste into valuable green energyand hydrogen. Plagazi will use InEnTec’s patented plasma gasification system incombination with the Plagazi patented process turning waste into green hydrogen. InEnTec, located in Richland, Washington, has worked for over 20 years to promote plasmagasification of waste. Their technology has been deployed at several locations in USA, Japan, Taiwan and Malaysia. The InEnTec plant in Arlington, Oregon produces fuel cellgrade hydrogen and serves as a commercial demonstration unit.

The Global Climate Challenge

Environment, November 26, 2019

CCS Carbon capture and geological storage (CCS) is a technique for trapping carbon dioxide emitted from large point sources such as power plants, compressing it, and transporting it to a suitable storage site where it is injected into the ground. This technology has significant potential to help mitigate climate change both in Europe and internationally, particularly in countries with large reserves of fossil fuels and a fast-increasing energy demand. The EU-directive EU has recently issued a directive in order to cope with growing climate change challenge. The directive on the geological storage of CO2 (so-called “CCS Directive”) establishes a legal.

Plagazi’s Challange

Company, February 12, 2019

The world is facing three serious problems or challenges: Our relative prosperity is heavily dependent on fossil fuels and burn gases, that have a very negative impact on our climate due to the emission of CO2 The lack of non-expensive sustainable energy alternatives to the fossil fuels. The growing problem with waste that is subject to landfill like non-combustible waste, demolished cars, tires, different kind of plastics and hazardous waste etc. Plagazi AB will be a technology provider that sets up or owns turn-key gasification plants based on existing standardized technology by using the patented Plagazi ® process; the cyclic.

Plasma and high temperature

Company, October 27, 2017

Plasma gasification differs from non-plasma gasification in one key area – temperature. Non plasma gasifiers typically operate between 800 and 900 °C. The temperatures inside Alter NRG’s gasifier reach over 3000 °C that utilizes its Westinghouse Plasma Torches. The syngas exits the gasifier at 950 °C. The slag flows out of the gasifier at 1650 °C. The higher temperatures inside our plasma gasifier result in the complete destruction of tars, something that is not achievable with non-plasma technologies. It is very difficult to remove tars downstream of the gasifier and therefore the utility of the syngas produced by non-plasma gasifiers.

Next-Generation Power

Company, August 20, 2017

Next-Generation Power As the world looks for new sources of clean, renewable energy, the search is leading to Westinghouse. Specifically, our next-generation Plasma Gasification technology. Industrial-scale syngas production from waste can be converted to power, biofuels and petrochemicals or as a fossil fuel replacement. Plasma Gasifier will convert a wide variety of waste streams into a clean syngas which can be further altered to create other forms of energy. A plasma gasifier is an oxygen starved vessel where various feedstocks can be gasified using the very high temperatures achievable with plasma. Rather than being combusted, the heat  breaks the feedstock down into elements like.

Lower emisions

Environment, August 20, 2016

Lower Emissions A plasma gasification combined cycle power plant or reciprocating engine plant is completely different than an incineration plant from an emissions perspective. Where incineration technology burns MSW to create energy, Alter NRG Plasma Gasifier uses extreme heat from its Westinghouse Plasma Torches, to break down the MSW to its molecular constituents including hydrogen and carbon monoxide, the two building blocks of syngas. In a combined cycle or reciprocating engine application, syngas from a Alter NRG Plasma Gasifier is cleaned up to a specification similar to natural gas. It is this clean syngas that is burned in a gas turbine or.

    Plagazi

Plagazi’s trade is to take possession of waste and convert it into marketable synthetic natural gas. Income derived from imported ASR and the sales of synthetic natural gas helps the company to keep municipal waste management fees at a low level.

    The Plagazi® Process

for hydrogen production is a new patented innovation and a pioneering method based on plasma gasification for producing pure hydrogen out of renewable feedstock, e.g. forest residues or sewage sludge. The patent is protecting a combination of three existing processes, plasma gasification, water-gas-shift and cleaning process steps to extract pure green hydrogen, suitable for fuel-cells and different kind of industrial applications.
